Wilson Named SCHS Head Boys Basketball Coach

Stephens County High School (SCHS) has named Greg Wilson as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach.  Greg Wilson has been named the new Head Boys Basketball Coach.  He’ll be coming to Stephens County from Chapman High School in Inman, South Carolina, where he has served as Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach for the past 12 years.  He also has coaching experience for 12 seasons in the college ranks.  His teams at Chapman had a winning record and/or qualified for the state playoffs 10 out of 12 seasons, and he was named the South Carolina Region Coach of the year three times.

Coach Wilson and his wife will be moving to Toccoa from Spartanburg, South Carolina, and will begin his coaching duties on July 1st.  He succeeds Jeremy Hughes, who resigned earlier this year after serving 5 years as the Indian Boys Head Basketball Coach.
