WEB: Democratic Committee Donates American Flag to Senior Center

On March 21, the Democratic Committee of Stephens County donated an American Flag to Mary Smith, director of the Mable Thomas Scott Senior Center.
Willis K. Crump, Committee First Vice Chair, stated, “After our county made such wonderful renovations to the center, our executive committee voted to purchase a new flag and donate it to the center. We hope having our patriotic symbol of liberty and justice for all will be a benefit for the community as they gather to celebrate our county and our country. The Democrats love having such a great meeting place and are happy to make this contribution to the facility.”
The shirts worn by committee members read ‘Stephens County Democrats – Making the World a Better Place.’
Crump said the Committee’s plans are to work with our community to make the county even better than it already is.
