Veterans Services Offered at Mobile Veterans Center on May 11

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Mobile Veterans Center will be at Grant Reeves Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7720 in Cornelia on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Mobile Veterans Center offers confidential help for veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. The event is open to all veterans, service members, and their family members. Membership in the VFW, DAV, or American Legion is not a requirement to attend.

Services include counseling for needs such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma.

The event, sponsored by Habersham County and the Grant Reeves Veterans Center, will include an open house with lunch and Veterans Service Organizations available. 

While the focus of this event is on Habersham County veterans and service members, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will be there to work all who serve or have served our nation and their family members. .

All veterans and service members who need the services offered are welcome. 

Grant Reeves Veterans Center is located at 174 Cornelia Crossing Shopping Center (on 441 Bypass), Cornelia.
