Two Toccoa residents arrested for felony drug possession

The Toccoa Police Department recently arrested two Toccoa residents following a 9-month-long investigation.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, on March 3, the Toccoa Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Sunset Lane for the distribution of marijuana.

At the execution of the search warrant 29-year-old, Ledonvan Crawford and 21-year-old Bridgett Vickery, both of Toccoa were arrested with 266 grams of marijuana.

A sum of cash was also seized in connection with the case.

Crawford was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and felony possession of marijuana.

Vickery was charged with felony possession of marijuana.

Both suspects were transported to Stephens County Jail, where they are awaiting bond.
