Two SCHS wrestlers place at state tournament in Macon

Stephens County High School recently took 6 wrestlers and 2 alternates to the state wrestling tournament held in Macon.  All of the Indian wrestlers won at least one match.  Two wrestlers placed–Senior Nikko Beady finished 6th in the state; Sophomore Athena Malek finished 2nd in the state in GHSA’s 1^st-ever girls division in wrestling.  Head Coach Matt Miller says he is proud of the season the team put together this year and their strong finish.
