Two More Deaths in Stephens Related to Covid-19

The Georgia Department of Public Health is now reporting two more deaths in Stephens County related to Covid-19 bringing the total to 45. DPH also reports a total of 1,341 positive cases of Covid-19 in Stephens County since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Wednesday afternoon.

The latest report still has Habersham County with 77 deaths, and now 1,960 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Franklin County is still  reporting 19 deaths and 1,023 positive cases, Hart County is reporting 19 deaths and now 636 cases,    Rabun County is still  reporting 11 deaths and now 463 cases, and Banks County is still reporting 9 deaths, and now 621 cases.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 377,694 cases, of those, 32,806 have been hospitalized and 8,333 have died from complications of the virus.
