Two Arrested After Crashing Vehicle into a House

The Toccoa Police Department makes two recent drug arrests after the suspects crashed their vehicle into the side of a home.

On July 23, officers located a vehicle that crashed into a house at 216 Hayes Street.

After further investigation, it was discovered that the female driver, Sara Owens, 68 of Toccoa, had lost control of the vehicle and it rolled or went into the side of the house causing minor damage.

A male passenger, Jaswinder Singh, 35 of Toccoa, was discovered to possess a meth pipe. Singh was arrested for possession and use of drug related objects.

Owens was given a field sobriety test and then arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. She was taken to Stephens County jail.
