TSC Chamber delivers $5,000 to 60 local businesses following t-shirt campaign

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce is set to deliver over $5,000 to sixty local small businesses — A direct result of the Chamber’s recent “Keeping Stephens Strong Together” T-Shirt Campaign, which allowed anyone who purchased shirts the ability to designate funds to a small business of their choice.

According to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen, “the people of Toccoa-Stephens County have a long history of rising to the occasion in support of the community, which was evident through this two-week shirt campaign and national pandemic.”

Additionally, Paysen announced that the Chamber will celebrate its 75th anniversary, and in celebration, the Chamber has been working to reinvent how to better serve and invest in the local community.

She says they have been working over the past six months to reinvent The Chamber.

In doing so, the Chamber has adopted a platform that brings its members tangible business tools and resources they wouldn’t otherwise have access to, ones that will bring benefits to themselves, their business, and employees.

The Chamber has been working with consulting and tech industry experts to add valuable business utilities to their investors.

Paysen says investing in the Chamber today will give you access to tools and resources that are economically packaged in affordable monthly payment options that will help jump start the future of your business.

The Chamber, according to Paysen, is rolling out a first of its kind platform that includes a marketplace for Chamber members and access to services including: GoSmallBiz— an online business consulting tool; HR and operational functions; Business forms and strategic planning software; online reputation management; telehealth; and an e-Commerce platform to sell your goods and services.

Paysen says “We value the relationships we have with the people of our community and considering the current business climate, we believe it’s paramount and much needed to offer these services to our local business community now more than ever before. We must work as a team and “Keeping Stephens Strong Together” is our motto.”
