Trio arrested in Toccoa on drug charges

Agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, along with Toccoa Police, and the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on a number of drug charges.

According to ARDEO Special Agent in Charge Trent Hillsman, the arrests came at a home at 182 Hughes Street in Toccoa after authorities searched the residence.

Arrested was 25-year old Austin Lee Kidd.

He’s charged with two probation revocation warrants, two counts possession of Roxicodone, two counts of possession of Methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

22-year old Alyssa Kari Whitlock is charged with Possession of Roxicodone.

And 26-year old Abby Gail Jordan was arrested and charged with Possession of Roxicodone and possession of Methamphetamine.

All three were transported to the Stephens County Jail.

Hillsman said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
