The Toccoa Police Department is trying to locate a suspect wanted in connection to a recent shooting.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, on January 29, officers responded to a residence on Falls Park Drive in reference to a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim and witnesses.

Officers were advised by witnesses that Kendrick Remon Perry had driven by and began shooting at the victim and immediately left.

Several witnesses, according to Mize, also described the vehicle Perry was driving as a Gold Chrysler 300 with no tag displayed.

Officers are currently looking for Perry in relation to this incident.

Mize says several warrants have been issued for Perry including four counts of aggravated assault, two counts of cruelty to children, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Mize says Kendrick Remon Perry is a black male, 6’4”, 285 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a Gold Chrysler 300 with no tag displayed.

He should be considered armed.
