TPD continues to look for culprits who vandalized Patriot Park

Law enforcement continue to search for the two young males they believe could be responsible for vandalizing a Toccoa park this past weekend.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, his investigators are checking neighboring security camera footage to better identify the pair.

He says one has long hair and one was on a bicycle.

As WNEG News reported earlier this week, someone destroyed the urns from the columns at Patriot Park, located on Doyle Street across from Regions Bank.

Local resident Rick Phillips announced that he is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the damages.

Anyone with information is urged to call Investigator David Cannon at 706-282-3244.
