The Toccoa Police Department has been able to capture the man wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in April.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, his office was able to execute arrest warrants on Nicholas Levor Harrison for armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

He says the charges stem from an armed robbery that occurred at 708 Big A Road, on April 26, 2023.

Mize explained that Harrison was located in Elbert County and taken into custody with the assistance of officers from the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State patrol, and the Toccoa Police Department.

Also arrested along with Harrison was Stephanie Mull McCall, of Toccoa. McCall is charged with party to a crime of armed robbery.

As WNEG News previously reported, Harrison was named as the sole suspect in the Toccoa Police Department’s investigation after he allegedly, committed an armed robbery.

The Toccoa Police Department were dispatched on April 26, at 11:44 p.m. to 708 Big A Road. Just a minute later, at 11:45 p.m., officers arrived on scene to learn that the store at the location had been robbed at gunpoint and a male subject, identified as Harrison, had fled the store on foot.

City of Toccoa’s Criminal Investigation Division Detectives started investigating the crime early April 27, and were able to determine that Harrison was the suspect.
