Today is the deadline to drop-off gifts for Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program

As a reminder, today is the deadline to drop-off gifts for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.

Toccoa Service Center Director Rebecca Dixon says this year more than 200 families signed up for the Angel Tree Program, which represents almost 500 children, ranging in ages from newborn to 12-years-old, who need gifts.

For anyone who has waited until today to purchase gifts for an angel you can purchase gifts at Walmart in Toccoa, the Beall’s stores in Toccoa and Cornelia and leave those items at those stores for the Salvation Army to pick up, or you can return unwrapped gifts to the Toccoa Salvation Army Center, located at 306 East Franklin Street.

Dixon says this year they are asking everyone adopting an Angel to purchase an outfit so the child will be clothed this winter.

Again, today is the deadline to bring gifts to the Toccoa Salvation Army Center.
