Today is Election Day in Toccoa-Stephens County

Today is Election Day in Toccoa-Stephens County.

According to Stephens County Registrar Eureka Gober, residents wishing to cast a ballot will vote at the Stephens County Senior Center from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. today.

During the advance voting period there were over 7,500 residents to cast advance ballots.

As a reminder, all absentee ballots are due back to the Registrar’s Office no later than 7 p.m. tonight.

If you still have an absentee ballot that hasn’t been returned, you can use the Ballot Box located outside of the Stephens County Government Building or drop them off at the Stephens County Registrar’s Office.

Gober says the Ballot Box is checked twice daily, so residents should feel confident in knowing the Registrar’s Office will receive the ballot.

Again, residents wishing to cast ballots today, will vote at the Stephens County Senior Center located on Roselane, in Toccoa.
