Toccoa’s Got Talent Showcases Tonight at the Ritz

A new talent and variety show will be debuting tonight at the Historic Ritz Theatre that will help benefit local non-profit organizations.

It’s called Toccoa’s Got Talent and is being jointly sponsored by Toccoa Main Street and the Stephens County Chapter of the United Way, according to Toccoa Main Street Manager, Christian Hamilton.

“I have the unique privilege of being both the chairman of the advisory board of the local chapter of the United Way and Manager of Toccoa Main Street. Each year, the Stephens County United Way tries to do some kind of kick-off to bring awareness about the local non-profit organizations that are benifited by United Way. The kick-off was supposed to happen last fall but because of the weather it was postponed until now,” Hamilton explained.

Hamilton said tonight’s Toccoa’s Got Talent show will feature international Christian recording artist D-Earl as the Master of Ceremonies and performer, as well as a number of other performing artists.

“We’re expecting about six artists to peform,” he said. “They include smooth R&B singer Johnny Hendrix, Ethan Phillips with Country, Ethan Smith & Hailey Little performing Broadway, Marion Montgomery & Maribel-Montgomery Anderson with Americana/Blues, Becca and the Boys with Country/Western, and Naomi Meadows on Concert Piano.”

Tonight’s show begins at 7p.

Admission is $2 and concessions will be sold.
