Toccoa’s First Responders set to host Public Safety Day on Saturday, June 12

Public Safety Day is coming up this weekend on Saturday, June 12.

Join Toccoa’s First Responders at the Public Safety Day event located at Ebenezer Baptist Church, at 49 Roselane, in Toccoa, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Toccoa Police Department have partnered together to host this family-friendly event.

He says this is a free family event and includes the GOHS “Rollover” Truck, local Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire, EMS, and Arts and Crafts.

All ages are invited to get hands-on experience with police cars, fire trucks, and EMS vehicles.

There will be free refreshments for everyone who attends.
