Toccoa to recognize Arbor Day, this Morning

In recognition of Arbor Day, the City of Toccoa has organized an insightful program about the importance of planting trees.

Scheduled to start at 8:30, held at the Historic Ritz Theatre, in the Schafer Center, Toccoa Mayor David Austin and Vice Mayor Gail Fry will be in attendance to welcome everyone.

Third graders from Toccoa Elementary will also be coming out to enjoy the program.

AT 9:30 everyone will walk to the corner of Savannah St and Sage St. to see a tree being planted.

Again, the program starts at 8:30 in the Ritz Theatre.
