Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Urgent Med of Toccoa

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Urgent Med of Toccoa.

Urgent Med is a new clinic, located at 1238 Falls Road, in Toccoa, that offers services for minor illnesses, minor injuries, uncomplicated skin infections, wellness visits, sports physicals, screening and monitoring, lab and testing.

Urgent Med charges $40 for an exam, any additional treatment, medication, or labs will be at an additional cost; they accept cash, checks and credit cards.

However, they do not accept insurance.

 

During the ribbon cutting President of the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce Julie Paysen spoke about how proud the community is to welcome another addition to the medical community in Stephens County.

“We are so excited and proud that you have decided to invest in Toccoa and Stephens County. We are pleased to welcome you as an addition to our medical communities. We know you will become a great asset to the community and a business that we are proud of already,” said Paysen.

Owner, Jeanette Loudermilk, told WNEG News about what she hopes to bring to the community.

“We want to serve the community in Stephens and surrounding counties with excellent medical care. We hope to provide top-quality care to the community, that’s what we’re here for, to provide service for everybody,” Loudermilk said.

Urgent Med is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.; and on Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
