Toccoa-Stephens County announces Public Safety Parade

Stephens County and the City of Toccoa Public Safety Divisions will be holding a Public Safety Parade this weekend, to show residents their appreciation to serve the public.

According to Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, the parade will be held on Saturday, May 9, beginning at 10 a.m.

Shirley says the Public Safety Parade is a way to show their appreciation to continue serving the citizens of Toccoa-Stephens County.

Shirley says the parade will run through several neighborhoods in the county.

The parade will include the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, Stephens County 911, Stephens County Emergency Management, Stephens County Fire Department, Stephens County EMS, Stephens County Search and Rescue, City of Toccoa Police Department, and the City of Toccoa Fire Department.

Again, the Public Safety Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9.

The parade will run through several neighborhoods and subdivisions including Fernside Drive, Wesley Circle, Foxdale Drive, Crawford Hills, Defoor Road, Skyline Drive, Rothell Road, and Stephen Drive.
