Toccoa Mayor urges public to get COVID Vaccine

Toccoa Mayor Evan Hellenga is urging the public to get the COVID Vaccine.

During the recent Toccoa City Commission Meeting, Hellenga explained that as the number of COVID cases continue to surge in Stephens County and throughout the world, it’s important to protect yourself and your loved ones from the virus by getting the vaccine.

“We’ve got to get ahead of this thing,” he said.

Anyone interested in receiving the COVID vaccine can do so at the Stephens County Health Department, located at 64 Boulevard, Suite 102, Toccoa.
