Toccoa man hit while walking across Big A Road
A Toccoa man was seriously injured when he was struck by a car while crossing Big A Road in Toccoa Tuesday afternoon.
The Georgia State Patrol says, 44-year-old Joseph Fusco was attempting to cross the multi-lane highway at Collins Road just after 3:05 when the wreck happened.
The GSP says, Fusco was not in a designated crossing area when he was struck by the front of the 2019 Ford Fusion.
The 85-year-old driver whose car hit Fusco was not hurt.
