Toccoa Little League Seniors Advance to Southeast Region Final

The Toccoa Little League Senior League All-Stars have advanced to the Little League Senior Baseball Southeast Regional title game in Safety Harbor, Florida, downing the team from Tennessee, 7-1.

Toccoa’s starting pitcher, Chase Pollock, struck out 11 batters and gave up only 1 run over 6 innings.  Findlay Ward had three hits, including a home run in the sixth inning.

Toccoa’s big inning was in the top of the sixth as they scored seven runs on seven hits, including Ward’s 2-run homer, a 2-RBI single by Caden Hogan, and 2 more RBI’s from Lane Pressley.  Konner Loudermilk took the mound in the seventh inning to finish out the game for Toccoa.

Toccoa will play in the final Wednesday morning.  If they win, they will be the Southeast Region Champions and advance to the Senior League Baseball World Series in Easley, South Carolina, beginning this Saturday.

Tennessee will face the winner of South Carolina-Virginia with today’s victor to face Toccoa Wednesday morning at 11 A.M.
