Toccoa Little League Rookie and Sandlot Ready for Sectionals
The Toccoa Little League Rookie and Sandlot All-Stars Baseball teams will be in Augusta this weekend for sectional play. Both teams won District 7 titles last week in Hartwell.
Franklin County finished second in each tournament.
The Toccoa Little League Rookies will play the host team, Martinez-Evans, Saturday at 12:30 P.M. Franklin County will play Oconee County at 10:30 A.M.
The Toccoa Little League Sandlot team got a first-round bye and will play Sunday at 1:30 P.M. against the winner of Martinez-Evans and Athens.
Franklin County will open against Oconee County Saturday at 1 P.M.
If you would like to show your support for Toccoa Little League you can join them this Thursday for Toccoa Little League Baseball Night at Chick-fil-A in Toccoa. Dine in or drive through from 5-8 P.M. and a portion of the sales will be given to the Toccoa Little League All-Stars to help with expenses for these All-Star tournaments.
