Toccoa Little League Extends Registration Deadline

The Toccoa Little League is extending the deadline to sign-up for the Spring 2018 season.

The organization added two more dates including today (Jan. 30) from 6 until 7:30 p.m.; and Thursday (Feb. 1) from 6 until 7:30 p.m. both held at the Hut, between Field 2 and Field 3, in the Doyle Street Ball Park.

Doug McCollum told WNEG News that they wanted to extend the deadline so that those who don’t use social media would have an opportunity to sign their children up for little league.

Registration is $75 and includes a jersey and ball cap.

To sign-up you will need to bring your player’s birth certificate at the time of registration.

Baseball players need to be seven-years-old or turning seven on or before Aug. 31, 2018; and Softball players need to be seven as of Dec. 31, 2017.

Evaluations will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Hut, you can also register there; however, there will be an additional charge of $10.

If you’re interested in volunteering, you can do so by signing up during one of the registration days.
