Toccoa couple loses everything in house fire, donations needed

A Toccoa couple suffered tragedy when their home was completely lost in a fire Friday night.

According to Open Arms Clinic Executive Director Sherry Beavers, the couple, Tony and Deborah Roberts, lost everything, including every cent they had, their phones, their IDs, furniture, dishes, clothing, their bird, and the list goes on and on.

Beavers is asking the public to come forward with monetary donations to help this family recover from this tragedy.

She says there is a donation button on the Open Arms Website at www.openarmsclinicga.com/roberts-house-fire.

Beavers says the Roberts’ have been loaned a camper and generator, as a short-term solution.
