Toccoa Commission Meeting Today
Toccoa City Commissioners will meet today for a regularly scheduled meeting.
The meeting is set to start at 5 p.m. at Toccoa City Hall.
Items on today’s meeting agenda include the awarding of a bid for the purchase of a bucket truck for the public works department, consideration of humane shelter funding, and a request from FriendshipBaptistChurch for housing demolition assistance.
Prior to the city commission meeting, the commission will also meet for a work session at 3:30 p.m., also at Toccoa City Hall.
Items on the agenda for the Toccoa City Commission’s work session include discussion of the city’s efforts in the area of developing Compressed Natural Gas, a discussion around the dredging of Davidson Creek, and discussion of the city’s sewer in regards to Ward Creek.
Both the meeting and the work session are open to the public.
