Toccoa All-Stars Down Habersham

The Toccoa 8-9-10 All-Stars trailed early, but scored four runs in the 3rd inning and five runs in the 4th, and rolled to an 11-7 victory over Habersham County on Tuesday night at Rabun County Park.

Toccoa trailed early 4-0, but a home run by Grant McGee got the comeback started and Toccoa got contributions throughout the lineup. McGee had two hits and two RBI’s, Findlay Ward had two hits and three RBI’s, Caden Hogan and Christian Hewitt each had two hits, and Toccoa got RBI’s from Riley Parshall, Griffen Weaver, and Eli St. Clair.

Toccoa’s Lane Pressley had a triple and scored three runs. Pressley also led Toccoa on the mound going three innings of relief and allowing just one run.

Hudson Gailey led Habersham County with two RBI’s.

Toccoa will now face last night’s Franklin County-Madison County winner on Thursday night at 6 P.M.

In the 9-10-11 division Toccoa jumped out to a big lead and defeated Habersham County 14-8. Toccoa will now have a chance to clinch the District Championship on Thursday. WNEG will broadcast Thursday’s game with airtime at 6:45 P.M. and first pitch scheduled for 7 P.M.
