Toccoa 11U All-Stars fall in District 7 Tournament to Hart County
The Toccoa 11 & under Little League Baseball All-Stars ended their District 7 Tournament participation last (Mon) night with a 29 to 0 loss to Hart County in Lavonia.
Toccoa couldn’t get anything going offensively while Hart County came out hitting, scoring 7 runs in the first inning.
Hart added 9 runs in the second then closed out the 3 inning game with 13 more in the third.
Three Hart pitchers held Toccoa scoreless, although Toccoa did manage to get two base runners on by walks in both the 1st and 2nd inning but both times were left stranded.
Hart County will play Franklin County tonight at 7 in Lavonia.
The Toccoa 10 & Under Baseball All-Stars will play Franklin County tonight at 7 in Lavonia in a rematch of Saturday’s game when Toccoa came away with a close 5 to 4 win.
Franklin defeated Hart in an elimination game Monday night, 15 to 10, to advance in the tournament.
If Toccoa wins tonight, they will be District 7 Champs.
If they lose, the two teams will play again Wednesday in the double-elimination tourney.
