Toccoa 11 & 12 Little League All-Stars to Play Tonight
Toccoa had a tough opening game at the 11 & 12 Little League Baseball State Tournament in Peachtree City Saturday, losing 13-3 in 4 innings to the host team, Peachtree City.
Toccoa used 4 pitchers against a good hitting Peachtree City team, giving up 5 runs in the 1st inning and 6 runs in the 2nd inning, and one run in each of the 3rd and 4th innings. Toccoa’s 3 runs were all scored in the top of the 4th inning on wild pitches–scoring were Carson Worley, Ben Stowe and William Adams.
Toccoa’s next game comes up today at 6 p.m. as they play Smyrna in an elimination bracket game. WNEG will broadcast the game with airtime at 5:45 tonight.
