Toccoa 10-11 All-Stars Take District Title

Andrew Keown had three hits and pitched a complete game to lead the Toccoa 9-10-11 Baseball All-Stars to an 11-4 win and the District 7 Championship Thursday night at Rabun County Park in Tyger.

Keown went all six innings allowing just six hits and striking out six and had 2 RBI’s at the plate. Toccoa also got RBI’s from Konnor Loudermilk, Tyler Zigan, and Tyler Gibson. Will Greene reached base all four times and scored four runs for Toccoa.

Franklin County was led by Carson Horton with two hits.

Toccoa will now advance to the State Tournament in Cartersville where they will be facing District 5 at 2 P.M. on July 7th.

Also at Rabun County Park Thursday night, the Toccoa 8-9-10 All-Stars advanced to the District Championship with a 12-2 win over Franklin County in 4 innings.
