Three Indicted in Meth Trafficking Ring

Three people arrested last month as part of a major drug trafficking bust by area law enforcement office have been indicted.

Last week, a Stephens County Grand Jury indicted Colby Neal Null, Amber Michelle Null, and Thomas Devin Wade Jarrell on multiple charges related to trafficking methamphetamine and other drugs.

Colby Null was indicted on three counts of Illegal Use of a Communication Facility and one count of Conspiracy to Violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

The indictment alleges that on July 18th and 20th, Null used a phone to communicate with Donna Beard to set up a time to meet with her to sell her a half ounce of methamphetamine.

It also alleges that on July 21st, Null spoke to Beard again by phone and the pair agreed to sell Amanda Collins methamphetamine.

Amber Michelle Null was indicted by the Grand Jury on one count of Party to the Crime of Distribution of Methamphetamine.

According to the indictment sometime between June 1st and July 30th, Amber Null agreed to distribute methamphetamine to Colby Null.

Amber Null was also indicted on one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine for selling meth to Thomas Devon Wade Jarrell.

Meantime, Jarrell was indicted by the Stephens County Grand Jury on one count of Conspiracy to Violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and one count of Party to the Crime of Distributing Methamphetamine.

The indictments come as the result of an eight-month investigation by the Stephens County Sheriff’s office, the Toccoa Police and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office into a methamphetamine trafficking ring in Stephens County allegedly run by Amber Null and Donna Beard.

During the execution of the 10 search warrants, deputies seized quantities of meth, guns, revolvers and thousands of dollars in cash.

In all 30, suspects were arrested in July in Stephens County as part of that investigation.
