Three Charged in String of Burglaries in Gumlog Community

A Martin man and two others are charged in Franklin County in connection with a string of burglaries in the Gumlog area.

Franklin County Sheriff Steve Thomas tells WNEG News during the month of July his deputies began investigating numerous residential burglaries in the Gumlog community.

Thomas said suspects had broken into homes and outbuildings, taking lawn equipment, TV’s, hand and power tools, musical instruments, jewelry and radio equipment.

Warrants have been issued for Michael Good on burglary charges

Their investigation led to search warrants being issued and they also conducted multiple traffic stops.

Thomas said some of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owners.

He said investigators were able to link three suspects to the burglaries and two have been arrested.

Authorities have arrested 28-year old Dustin Merritt London of Martin and 24-year old Danny Lee Henson of Lavonia.

London is charged in Franklin County with five counts of felony burglary.

Henson is charged with one count of burglary.

Authorities have also issued felony warrants for 43-year old Michael Lee Good also of Lavonia who is still on the run.

Good faces five counts of burglary in Franklin County.

Good is also wanted in Stephens County and in Lavonia on outstanding burglary charges.
