The Salvation Army Family Store celebrates anniversary with Customer Appreciation Day

The Salvation Army Toccoa is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Family Store today, July 2, in Toccoa.

Salvation Army Major Nancy Fuller says the event is to show appreciation to their customers.

“It’s been a year since the Family Store has been open, so, we thought it would be nice to show appreciation to our customers,” Fuller said. “We have all kind of sales going on, all of our clothes are .99 cents, and a bunch of other sales. There’s free hotdogs, chips, and drinks, and it’s going to go on all day long. We’d love to have people come in. We have door prizes, that people are just filling out tickets for, you don’t have to be present to win. It’s just going to be a fun day.”

Fuller adds that the customer appreciation day is their way of saying ‘thank you.’

“This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our customers,” she said.

Today’s festivities will continue until 5 p.m.

The Salvation Army Family Store is located at 419 South Big A Road in Toccoa.

The Family Store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
