The Ritz Theatre to Host a Series of Concerts

Beginning this month, and once per month through February, The Ritz Theatre will be hosting a series of concerts. A “Night At The Ritz” begins September 7th and the Ritz Theatre General Manage Keith Kozicki tells WNEG News about the series. “Night At The Ritz is a six-part series that will take place September-February. It is a monthly performance of music and theater” says Kozicki.

The “Night At The Ritz” will feature a variety of genres and the schedule is as follows:

September 7: Nu South Players (Motown, R&B)

October 12: The Piatigorsky Foundation presents Qing Li and Paolo Gualdi (Classical)

November 2: Randall Bramblett Band (Southern Roots Rock)

December 5: Lightwire Theater presents “A Very Electric Christmas” (Performing Arts)

January 5: The Malpass Brothers (Country)

February 1: Milkshake Mayfield (Jazz)

Kozicki says it was an Arts Grant that have made these events possible. “This is made possible by a generous grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts. They are very supportive of the arts here in Stephens County, and we are very grateful to them for making this series possible.”

Kozicki says that history is being made with this series of concerts. “For the first time ever we will be selling tickets online through, not only the Ritz Theatre website, but the Ritz Theatre Facebook page. So there are two ways to go online and get tickets, and we are real excited about that.”

The Ritz will be a happening place over the next few months as it will be host for not only the “Night At The Ritz” shows, but other concerts, too. “There really is a lot going on. We are excited about the future of the Ritz, and there is a lot more to come” says Kozicki.
