The Mulligan Movie production has been postponed

ReelWorks Studios CEO/Producer Rick Eldridge has announced the suspension of the movie production of The Mulligan for 30 days due to the national emergency conditions related to the Coronavirus.

Eldridge says there is anticipation that there will be further restrictions mandated for travel and businesses; therefore, the production team wants to make this preemptive action before they further extend the pre-production of the film.

He says the decision comes after much consultation with experts and associates related to the film project.

The newly anticipated schedule, according to Eldridge, will now be two weeks of final prep beginning April 13 with first day of principle photography April 27.

The Mulligan is the seventh movie to be filmed in Toccoa-Stephens County.

According to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen and Georgia Film Liaison, ReelWorks Studios, most recently produced When We Last Spoke in Toccoa, and will make Toccoa it’s home-base for this seventh movie to begin production.

The Mulligan Movie is based on the book, The Mulligan.

The production team for the film will include a team of 60 students currently in the Film Program at Liberty University, who will be filling the crew member roles.

Paysen says with she is proud of Toccoa-Stephens County and its growing emergence as a regional film production location.
