TFC breaks records for student enrollment

Toccoa Falls College is off to an exciting year.

Tracy Wiegman is the director of marketing and communications for Toccoa Falls College.

She recently told WNEG News that TFC has, for the third consecutive year, broken past records for new student enrollment.

According to Wiegman this year’s total student enrollment is 1,642 up 220 over last year at this time.

Toccoa Falls College President Dr. Bob Myers said he couldn’t be more pleased or excited about TFC’s record enrollment for 2018. He continues by saying “We are seeing enrollment growth as a result of providing quality, Christ-centered education at an affordable price.”

The college continues to see record-breaking enrollment in both the Dual Enrollment and Online Programs; additionally, increasing numbers are the result of the opening of the Fetterman School of Nursing, which officially opened in the Fall of last year.

This year’s Freshmen class represents 24 states and 11 countries.

Myers said he looks forward to seeing God work in the lives of these young men and women as they develop Godly character while growing intellectually in their area of academic study.

Toccoa Falls College was founded in 1907, and is a Christ-centered, independent, nonprofit, college located in Northeast Georgia.
