TFC Baseball Drops Weekend Doubleheader

The Toccoa Falls College baseball team returns home looking to break a three-game losing streak when it takes the field this afternoon.

TFC is scheduled to play Truett-McConnell College at 3 p.m. today at home.

Over the weekend, TFC dropped a pair of games to Talladega College.

In a Saturday doubleheader, the Screaming Eagles lost to Talladega College 5-1 and 3-1.

The losing streak started when TFC lost last Wednesday at home to Middle Georgia State College 15-8.

In that game, TFC led 6-2 before giving up six runs in the top of the sixth inning.

Then, TFC twice cut the lead to one run, including 9-8 in the bottom of the eighth, before Middle Georgia State scored six in the top of the ninth to put it away.

The TFC baseball team is now 15-16 overall on the season.
