TCC will meet today for regular scheduled meeting

The Toccoa City Commission will meet today for its regular scheduled meeting.

As WNEG News previously reported, all future meetings of the Toccoa City Commission will be conducted in-person which started with the first meeting in June.

Anyone wishing to attend today’s meeting is invited to meet in the City Commission room at Toccoa City Hall.

The meeting will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Up for consideration is an ordinance for Mobile Food Venders, an update from Stephens County Development Authority, a Memorandum of Understanding for the Georgia Exceptional Main Streets Program, Private Sector Representative on the Georgia Mountain Regional Commission, and a Consideration to Extend the Internet Sweepstakes Cafes Moratorium.

The Ordinance for Mobile Food Venders was previously discussed by the City Commission however no action was taken.

According to City Manager Billy Morse, the Food Truck Ordinance was drafted because there is no ordinance regulating food trucks within the city limits.

Again, the Toccoa City Commission will meet today at 5:00 p.m. in the City Commission room at City Hall.
