Stephens County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrests

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests made on August 21st.

Reports indicate a vehicle was stopped for speeding on Highway 17 at Currahee Lane. Cited for speeding in excess of the maximum speed limit was the driver 19-year old Annalise M. Paylor. Upon investigation, deputies discovered marijuana, illegal prescription drugs, and drug related material.

Paylor, Teisha W. Buchanan, 19 and Marie E. Cobb, 18 were arrested for drug related offenses.

Around 5:24 P.M. August 21st deputies arrested Christopher A. Savage. Savage was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police, driving on a suspended license, failure to obey stop sign, brake light violation, and unlawful use of license. Savage was transported to the Stephens County Detention Center.
