Stephens County Schools resume classes today

Stephens County students are returning to class today, following an extended Winter Break.

The school system decided to extend the break by a week, after concerns for the spread of COVID-19.

Stephens County School Superintendent Dr. Daniel Oldham announced on Thursday that the schools are safe to continue operating.

However, Oldham is encouraging students and staff to wear masks while on campus, in hopes preventing further spread of the virus.
