According to officials with the school system, children must be present to pick up meals.

Officials are advising that you remain in your vehicle and do not congregate as you pick-up your sack lunch.

Pick-up meals will be available from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning on March 19, until April 3.

Stephens County Middle School is located at 1315 Rose Lane in Toccoa.

School System officials are asking participants to enter from the rear entrance “bus loop road” at the Middle School beside Big A Elementary, there School Nutrition Personnel along with local deputies will be there to hand out meals.

Under Federal Requirements and Guidelines the following rules are in place: meals are available for children 18 and under in the automobile; parents are not allowed to pick up meals for their child/children who are not with them; no adult meals will be available; and meals will be served until they run out, during the serving period.
