Stephens County School System continues to serve Grab-n-Go lunches to children 18 and younger

The Stephens County School System continues to serve lunches to children 18 and younger in Stephens County through its Grab-N-Go lunch program.

The Grab-N-Go lunch program continues Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Each day, students and children 18 and younger, will receive a free sack lunch that includes breakfast for the following morning.

Stephens County School Nutrition Director Kim Caudell says transportation also offers mobile bus delivery.

The Mobile Bus Sites include: The Pines Apartment from 10:15 until 10:30 a.m.; Falls Park Apartments from 10:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.; Highland Avenue/Doyle Street from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.; and Sweet Gum Road/Pinetree Road from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

School officials advise motorists who are picking up meals at Stephens County Middle School to enter from the rear entrance, also known as Bus Loop Road, beside Big A Elementary. There will be trained School Nutrition Personnel along with local deputies to hand out meals.
