Stephens County Registrar’s Office will begin scanning absentee ballots today

The Stephens County Registrar’s Office will begin scanning absentee ballots for the Presidential Preference Primary and Primary elections today at the Stephens County Historic Courthouse.

According to Stephens County Registrar Eureka Gober her staff will begin at 2:00 p.m. on the second floor of the historic courthouse.

She says the public is invited and encouraged to attend the scanning of the absentee ballots.

Anyone who requested an application for an absentee ballot must return the ballot to the Registrar’s Office no later than 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9.

Gober reminds voters that on election day, Tuesday, June 9 all voting will take place at the Stephens County Senior Center on Rose Lane from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
