Stephens County Registrar enters day two of second recount of November 3rd election

Stephens County Deputy Registrar April Roberts says the second recount of the November 3^rd Election will continue today.

The Stephens County Registrar’s Office held the second recount on Monday along with its Logic and Accuracy Testing of the voting machines prior to starting the recount.

Roberts says everything on Monday went smoothly.

She says the Registrar’s Office will pick up today at 9 a.m. to finish the recount of the election.

Like Monday’s proceeding, the public is invited and encouraged to attend today to oversee the recount at the Stephens County Registrar’s Office inside the Stephens County Historic Courthouse.

As WNEG News mentioned previously, the first recount didn’t change the outcome of the November 3^rd election, and Roberts believes this second recount will be the same.
