Stephens County man indicted for murder in Franklin County

A Stephens County man has been indicted by the Franklin County Grand Jury on four counts including felony murder for allegedly causing the overdose death of another man.

According to the indictment, on or about June 10th, 29-year-old Danny Lee Henson provided fentanyl, a Schedule II Controlled Substance to Levi Douglas Roach which resulted in Roach’s death.

Henson was also indicted on one count of felony violation of the Controlled Substance Act in the distribution of fentanyl and one count of felony possession of a gram of heroin, a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance.

Henson is due back in Franklin County Superior Court on October 11.
