Stephens County Election Results

In a very close race, Chris Erwin defeated the incumbent Dan Gasaway by 67 votes and will be the new State Representative for District 28.

Other winners include the Incumbent Dean Scarborough for Stephens County Commission District 5, and Kay Reed will represent District 3 Post 1 on the Stephens County Board of Education.

There will be a runoff in July for the Stephens County Commission Post 4 seat between James Addison and Bryan Dooley.

Also, Sunday alcohol sales passed by slim margins in the City of Toccoa and Stephens County. Below are the unofficial numbers.
