Stephens County Health Department to host Drive-Thru Flu Clinic this Thursday
The Stephens County Health Department will hold a drive-thru flu clinic this Thursday, November 4 at the Stephens County Health Department from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Health Department is located at 64 Boulevard, Suite 102, in Toccoa.
This year, the quadrivalent vaccine (four-in-one) will serve as the regular flu vaccine and will protect against four different strains of flu, both A and B strains of the influenza viruses.
The high-dose vaccine, which is also a quadrivalent vaccine, will be available for people age 65 and older.
The flu vaccines are free to anyone who has Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurances.
If you are self-pay, the flu shot is $30.
Again, the Stephens County Health Department’s drive-thru flu clinic is set for November 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stephens County Health Department.
