Stephens Co. and Toccoa holiday hours
The Public Works Department’s Office Manager Janet Dye has released the schedule for Holiday closures for the City of Toccoa.
The Toccoa City Hall will be closed Dec. 25th and 26th in observance of Christmas.
Dye added that routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up Monday, Dec. 25, will be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 26, will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 28.
Commercial garbage that is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 25, will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 26, but yard waste and other items will not be picked up.
The Toccoa Police and Fire Departments will be on duty.
Utility department employees, as well as employees from the Public Works Department, will be on call for emergency situations.
The Links at Lake Toccoa and Pings Grill will be closed for Christmas Eve, Sunday Dec. 24, and Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25; but, will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26, and operate on a normal schedule.
For those living in the county, all Stephens County Government will be closed for the Christmas holidays, Dec. 25 through Dec. 26, 2017.
Additionally, all of Stephens County’s Convenience sites will be closed on Monday, December 25th for Christmas, with the sites reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
