St. Mary’s Hospital Receives Get With The Guidelines Resuscitation Gold Award

St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens is the recipient of  the Get With The Guidelines®-Resuscitation Gold Award.
Spokesman Mark Green said St. Mary’s received the award for meeting specific measures in treating adult in-hospital cardiac arrest patients.
“The St. Mary’s received the award for meeting specific measures and treating adults and hospital cardiac arrest patients,” said Green. “And to qualify for the awards, hospitals like St.Mary’s must comply with quality measures for two or more years in a row.”
Montez Carter, President of St. Mary’s Hospital tells WNEG News implementing the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines-Resuscitation program will help the facility make it easier for medical teams to put proven knowledge and guidelines to work on a daily basis.
