SCSB Selects New Principal for Big A Elementary

During the Stephens County Board of Education meeting on March 19, the board approved hiring Jennifer King as principal of Big A Elementary School. King will follow the leadership of Regina Bayles, who recently announced her retirement at the end of the 2023-2024 school year after 34 years of service.

King has served the White County School System for 23 years serving as the Director of Student Accountability and Elementary Curriculum, Principal of Mossy Creek Elementary, Assistant Principal of Mossy Creek Elementary, and Assistant Principal of Mount Yonah Elementary as well as a Gifted Resource Teacher for Grades 1-5 and a First and Second Grade Teacher.

King will begin her service as principal on July 1 for the 2024-2025 school year.
